The vision and mission of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. It is the duty of the stewardess board to assist the pastor as he reaches out to those who are in need of spiritual guidance as they grow closer to God. The responsibilities of the Stewardess Board are to assist the stewards with the Lord’s Supper and Baptism.
To provide and implement the elements of the Holy Communion for the entire church every first Sunday of the month.
To dress the pulpit and altar with suitable, clean colored coverings for the various seasons of the Christian year, funerals,and for memorials.
To provide assistance with funerals by helping the families in need as well as handling flowers at end of the funeral services.
Support the other ministries in visiting the sick and shut in.
